SUDOKU Lessons
Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 12:39AM Sudoku engages the mind and ends with a triumph of logic over seemingly endless possibilities, yet there is an easy way and a hard way. This is the easy way!
If you’ve read through the published Sudoku strategy guides, you’ll see the same, tired process and obsure language presented. This webinar presents a totally unique approach, one that even expert players will find engaging and refreshing! The SudoKNOWtm Method creates and applies force to solve some of most difficult Sudoku puzzles, and virtually eliminates the arduous use of "possibilities." Why focus on where numbers might go? When you focus on where they must go, real force is created!
This landmark Sudoku Class will introduce the SudoKNOWtm process and provide guidance as you apply these new skills over four weekly sessions. Each participant will be expected to complete several puzzles each week, and we will be using the "More Original Sudoku" collection of hand-crafted puzzles from Nikoli as our puzzle souce.
These Sudoku Lessons will cover:
• Overview of popular Sudoku strategy guides
• When to play without losing productive time in your life
• Creation and use of Stealth Pairs and Links
• Unique FORCE Notation and effective writing instruments
• Use of patterns, structure, and triangulation to improve efficiency
• Use of Cross Force (a.k.a. “x-wing”), Stealth, and other advanced techniques
• Use of Intuition to free the mind from counting
All levels of players will benefit from the SudoKNOWtm Method, and even beginners will leave this Sudoku Workshop with the skills to solve intermediate to advanced Sudoku puzzles without resorting to computers, guessing, or treading water in a sea of possibilities.
Sukoku Masters conducted the first-ever, comprehensive Sudoku Class at the Learning Annex in San Diego, 2006. This is the only known live Sudoku Class -- world wide -- other than the introductory Sudoku Workshops held at the the Burlington Puzzle Museum in Wisconsin. This is the premiere webinar on Sudoku Strategy.
